North Dakota Oil Spill , why we haven,t heard from CNN or Fox ?

On December 3 , 2016 a oil pipeline failed and oil was released into the environment , and as of now they believe that the spill that happened in the western part of N. Dakota is larger than was expected , up to (3!) times larger

530,000 gallons of oil they ” believe ” to have been spilled so far, and to be believed it came from the Belle Fourche Pipeline , they believed was ruptured by a “slumping ” hillside , 16 miles northwest of Belfield in Billings county . No decision has been made to fine the Wyoming based  True Cos , which operates the Pipeline . The company states ” it is committed to cleaning up the spill and it is 80% done , says spokeswoman Wendy Owen , there is no timeline on the completion of the cleanup and will be there until the job is done .

In the December spill , a unknown amount of oil made it into the Ash Coulee Creek , which in turn , feeds into the little Missouri River, a tributary of the Missouri River . Environmental scientist Bill Seuss said , no oil has made it to those waters or to any drinking water source , but the focus is on cleaning up that creek before spring grazing season , since the cattle drink from that contaminated creek ( waterway ) . There have been no confirmed deaths of livestock or wildlife ( so far ) .

There is still oil spilling out from the hillside but it is being contaminated . Soil remediation work could take a year or more “, Seuss said . ( Note , and we were giving the native Americans hell over just this issue and look …. )
