This movie has issues from the very beginning , written by the team of Rhette Reese , Paul Wernwick ( Deadpool (2016, Zombieland (2009) , G.I. Joe, Retaliation ( 2013) . The movie fails to establish any credibility to the characters or how they made contact with the Alien lifeform , the movie and story “feels” rushed and not “fleshed out” enough to care about the characters . The things that happen in the 2ad act of the film , seems ridiculous as the things that are happening , just doesn,t happen on a space station but the movie tries it,s level best to convince you , which leaves to situations that just seems stupid .
The final moments of the film is were the film fails the most , with the director , Daniel Espinosa ( Child 44 (2015) Safe House (2012 ) ) Demanded that the studio to leave the ending , the way it is , they would ” part ways “, well in hindsight , they should have , the ending that landing with a wimper and not the ” shock value “, the director and writers were looking for .
Overall ; the movie scores a 2 out of 5 stars ( Stay at home ..)
